Air Quality Alert issued for Sunday; Will we see the first 90°-day in 2021?


CLEVELAND (WJW) — Humidity on Sunday will intensify as temps head toward 90° — we’ll be into the mid-80s at lunchtime and even after the sun goes down!

Rain chances return, little by little, on Monday.

Higher risks of pop-up showers and thunderstorms, afternoon and early evening, will be on the forecast menu from mid to late week.

Meanwhile, an Air Quality Alert has been issued for several Northeast Ohio counties.

The alert, which remains in effect until midnight Sunday night, impacts residents in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties.
