Fog, locally dense at times with visibility around one-quarter
mile, has developed early this morning across eastern Iowa,
northeast Missouri, and northwest and west-central Illinois. The
most widespread, dense fog is mainly along and south of U.S.
Highway 30, although there are areas of dense fog north of there
up to the U.S. Highway 20 corridor too.
If you are traveling this morning, leave a little extra time to
reach your destination. Be prepared for visibilities dropping
quickly which will impair your vision.
The fog is expected to begin clearing up by around 9 am.
