MACKINAW (WEEK) — Mackinaw Valley Vineyard welcomed guests back to their annual International Music, Wine and Craft Beer festival Saturday.
The Vineyard had to cancel last year’s event due to COVID-19.
Guests got to taste and purchase from a selection of over 50 wines and 70 beers from across the world, along with treats and live music.
People got to taste wine made from French American Hybrid grapes grown on the vineyard and around the Midwest.
“We’re thankful we’re still here,” said Diane Hahn, owner of Mackinaw Valley Vineyard. “We’re thankful for all of the people that supported our local business along with other local businesses of the people I know and been friends with. Just hoping for a good year in 2021 and that people would feel safe and come out and see us.”
Now that businesses are returning to normal operations, the vineyard is set to host concerts every Saturday night from June to September along with Friday night country music shows in the coming weeks.
