Police search for 73-year-old with dementia missing out of Miami


Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an endangered elderly woman who went missing out of Miami.

Daphne Lewis Bowe, 73, was last seen at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, located at 900 NW 17th St., at 9:15 a.m., Thursday.

Police said she has dementia and was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, a white shirt with a peace sign design on it and khaki pants.

She had gray sneakers on, a light-colored face mask and sunglasses with a white frame.

Bowe was also walking with a cane.

She stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.

Bowe has brown eyes and salt and pepper colored hair.
