Afternoon highs will warm into the upper 70s and low 80s. Plan for mainly dry weather through mid-afternoon, before scattered thunderstorms increase in coverage by early evening.
A few thunderstorms will have the potential to produce large hail and damaging wind gusts, with the prime focus for communities along and northwest of the Illinois River.
