BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) – Bloomington Police said they’ve arrested an 18-year old man for a shooting that killed another man in early March.

Tuesday, detectives served murder warrants on Kentrell Brown, who’s being held on unrelated charges in the Olmsted County Jail in Minnesota.

Brown is charged with the killing March 7 of Natwan Nash, 26, of Bloomington, who authorities said suffered multiple wounds from the shooting that happened at an apartment complex in the 2400 block of Clearwater Avenue.

A news release said the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office issued the murder warrants Monday.

Bond is set at $3 million on the murder charges, which means he would have to post $300,000 to be released.

There was no information Tuesday about the status of extradition proceedings in Minnesota, or when Brown might be returned to McLean County.
