Police looking for two suspects after late-night armed robbery at Walgreens in Peoria

PEORIA (WEEK) — Police say they are on the lookout for two male suspects after an armed robbery took place at a Peoria Walgreens Saturday night.

At around 9:50 p.m., police responded to the Walgreens on 3524 University Street regarding a report of an armed robbery.

Information gathered at the scene found one suspect brandished a gun and demanded money while the second suspect served as a lookout.

Both suspects fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say the first suspect, a white male, is around five feet, six inches tall with brown hair and clean cut facial hair.

He was wearing a black stocking cap, gray hoodie, dark pants and a red bandana around his neck.

Police say the second suspect, also a white male, was wearing a black hoodie and dark gray sweatpants.
