Get used to the humidity–muggy conditions look to stick around along with summer-like temperatures still lingering for the start of work week. But, near normal temperatures in the 70s will make a return in the later half of the week. Clouds have been building throughout the day today, and will linger into the overnight overs. Tonight, expect partly cloudy skies and lows staying mild in the mid to upper 60s.
Monday looks to be staying dry for the entire day along with a light breeze. We’ll start the day off with mostly sunny skies, but clouds will begin to build later in the afternoon. You may want to consider keeping the air conditioning on still as highs race to the upper 80s, in addition to the mugginess.
A cold front passing through Tuesday will bring shower and thunderstorm chances to the region beginning Tuesday and onward. This will trigger showers and potentially some strong thunderstorms. Some of which have the chance to become severe. Though, we’re still a few days out and models can change between now and then. Nonetheless, stay weather aware and we’ll keep you updated on the latest!
Precipitation looks to continue in the forecast until Thursday/Friday. A brief dry period Wednesday evening into parts of Thursday may be possible. Summer-like temperatures come to an end later in the work week as highs drop back down to near normal (mid to upper 70s!).
