PEORIA, Ill. (WEEK) — Local vendors got a chance to sell some of their merchandise Wednesday.
A Farmer’s Market took place at Keller Station on North Knoxville Avenue in Peoria.
There, people who provide locally grown and sourced goods were able to sell them.
Some of those goods include popcorn, meats, veggies, flowers, balloons, and hand made items.
“This is a way of educating people on what we have in our store, and just a third of things we carry,” said Gregory Young of Young’s Popcorn Heaven.
The Farmer’s Market will take place every Wednesday through September 29th from 4-7 PM in the north parking lot area of Keller Station.
