BLOOMINGTON (WEEK) – State Farm Insurance said it is hiring more than 1,500 full-time claims employees to keep up with record growth.
The company said Tuesday the positions will be based at its Bloomington headquarters in addition to offices in Dallas, Phoenix, and Atlanta.
State Farm did not say how many of the new employees will work in Bloomington or the other locations.
The company said it’s adding the positions to help customers with the claims process.
State Farm said some of the new hires will support in-language claims teams to aid Spanish and Asian language speaking customers.
The insurer is inviting job seekers to participate in a virtual job fair, to be held Thursday, May 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CDT.
“Our virtual career fair will allow potential applicants to engage with our recruiters to learn more about our career opportunities, interviewing and resume tips, as well as our benefits before applying,” State Farm HR&D Director Jill Lacy Green said in a prepared statement.
Career fair participants must register online before Thursday’s virtual event.
