HANNA CITY (WEEK) — The Wildlife Prairie Park in Hanna City invited anyone to join them to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday.
The Visitor Center was full of crafts and mother animal facts for people to enjoy.
Moms were able to overlook their field filled with bison or walk through the park’s trails. Train rides were also free for moms.
Animal Keeper, Sierra Watt, said they always want to celebrate the people who come into the park, including mothers.
“”We always want to show our support for mothers. And even some of our animal keepers are mothers as well and so we just want to support them and give them time to have a day for themselves,” said Watt.
Watt said she hoped mothers were able to relax and take advantage of what the park had to offer.
